Features
All of the HLN heaters need to go through rigorous tests before
they can hit the market. Conducting in-situ extreme cold
environment tests is a standard process for the company as new
lines of HLN heaters become available. The company has done
multiple tests at an environment temperature of lower than -45°C.
In the tests, all air heaters of 2KW, 4KW, 7KW, and water heaters
of 5KW, 10KW, 12KW and 15KW are able to start and operate smoothly.
In addition, lab tests simulating low temperature (-41°C) and high
elevation environments, salt spray, water splash, and
electro-magnetic field interference are required for HLN heaters.
HLN focuses on systematic improvement on the products’ key
component. The fuel pump is a good example. The company provides
several variants of fuel pumps to meet different requirement. It
started from a version that can function at extreme low temperature
(-41°C). Such a pump is ideal for vehicles that need to work at
extreme cold environment for extended period. Later on, when the
company expanded to the recreational vehicle market, quiet
operation instead of low temperature functionality became the major
concern. Seeing the new demand, the company developed another fuel
pump that can work at a temperature as low as -20°C, but much
quieter. Such a change immediately drew well acceptance among the
RV customers. HLN grew together with its customers and would
continuously do so.
The HLN Air Heater is designed to be used as an auxiliary and
sometimes primary heater in car, trucks, RVs, boats, buses,
construction and farm equipment. The heater provides heat using the
vehicles fuel and battery power without the need for the vehicle
engine to waste fuel by idling just to provide heat. The HLN
Heaters compact design, ease of use, low maintenance and low
operating cost make it ideal for many mobile application where and
efficient manner of providing heat is required.
